Creating Documents

Depending on the options your DM administrator has configured for flex folders, you might be able to create a document directly from the virtual structure.

To add a document to a client or matter:

  1. Expand the flex folder node and locate the client or matter to which you want to add a document.

  2. Hover your cursor over the client/matter name; when the pop-up menu appears, select Add New >> Document.

  3. Locate and select the document to upload, then click Open.

  4. The Add Document dialog box appears with the document profile form. Notice that the client and/or matter field(s) appear populated. Complete the profile form fields.

  5. Click OK to close the profile form.
