Using Security (Access Control)

The DM Security feature enables you to allow or deny access to your documents (or other profiled DM items). Trustees are users who you have allowed or denied access to your DM document.

By default, the user who created a document has all rights to the document. Other users and groups can be assigned access rights to the document, ranging from read-only to full access rights.

	Note: Currently logged-on users cannot remove rights from their own security profile. This is to prevent users from accidentally removing rights to a document or folder to which they have sole ownership.
